General Meeting

Keramos will be having its general meeting Wednesday November 10th 2010 at 6 PM in 218 Ceramics Building.  Please come and find out what is going on in Keramos before joining us on our annual barcrawl!

MS&T Conference Mug Drop

Congratulations to our Keramos chapter for winning the second place in the mug drop contest in 2010 MS&T conference! The competition was held on Tuesday, Oct.19 in Houston.  The mug made by Xiaolin Zhang together with RyanTrumbo survived for the hight of 105 cm and eventually broke at 150 cm.

Keramos Mentor Program Cookout

Keramos will be having a cookout to allow participants in the new mentor program to meet each other.  The cookout will be at 5 PM in the Illini Grove on 10/6/2010.  Mentors, Mentees,and professors are all welcome to join!

MatSE Mentor Program Informational Meeting

We will be having an informational meeting for the new MatSE Mentor program tonight, September 23rd at 8PM in MSEB 305. If you are an upperclassman (junior or senior) and are interested in mentoring a freshman please come out. Also, come hungry, we’ll have pizza :).

Dow Corning Information Session

Keramos will be co-hosting a presentation on “How to Succeed in Corporate Life” by Dow Corning senior research specialist Michael Watson.  Come join us September 9th at 7-8 in Noyes 100!

Spring 2010 Initiates
